IGP: International Graduate Program

We highly recommend that prospective international students wishing to join our laboratory apply through the IGP course.

We are looking for IGP(A) or IGP(C) only students who want to apply to the Mechanical Engineering Course. If you are interested in joining our lab and studying with us, please contact us via this form. For security reasons, we generally do not accept email, so please use the form.

We are recruiting students who are interested in novel actuators and industrial robots.

Now, prospective students are contacting us for autumn 2024 admission.

We would appreciate your consulting with us earlier than usual, as several hurdles must be crossed.

Important!!

Yaskawa Electric Corporation funds our laboratory. Therefore, our research theme will be decided by a discussion with Yaskawa. Furthermore, the laboratory itself will be terminated if Yaskawa does not decide to continue funding. However, in that case, you can continue the same research theme under the supervision of other professors, who will be your associate supervisor. In other words, your research for your master's thesis or doctor's thesis will continue with the same theme even if our laboratory is discontinued, although your supervisor will change.

For the same reason, we must submit more documents than other labs. Therefore, you must notify us of your interest in the program as soon as the application information is disclosed. And we must finish some preparations for the procedure at least two months before the application deadline. We appreciate your cooperation.
